What’s My Point?

Do you ever feel like your mind is working against you?

Do you have an inner voice that is not always on your side and sabotages your best intentions? That tells you you’re useless even when you’re trying your best? That tells you there’s no point trying to lose weight for instance because you’ll never keep it off? That puts you off applying for the dream job because you’re just not good enough.

Or do you work really hard to think positive and manifest your desires only to find things stay as they’ve always been? You’ve read The Secret and put it into practice but nothing changes? Do you then doubt your own ability and lose faith in yourself?

This is not you failing. It’s not you being unable to change your mindset. You have made changes in your conscious mind.

However, your subconscious mind may be holding you back. And the point of that is it is subconscious, you don’t even realise it’s happening. These are beliefs and patterns of behaviour picked up from conception and beyond that direct your life irrespective of your best conscious intentions, desires and behaviours.

The subconscious has 90% more power and capacity than our conscious mind but we can only work with our conscious mind, right? So how can things ever change?

We have the power to tap into that amazing resource. We can rewrite the core beliefs our subconscious mind has been programmed with over the years. The ones that ruin our positive conscious thoughts and actions and result in us repeating patterns that have never been good for us, or been what we actually want. We can change that.

PSYCH-K® is a belief change methodology. A way of updating your self-sabotaging programming that may have come from a one-off event – when you thought you’d been left behind by your siblings for instance, or a lifetime of repeated put downs by a parent. It may also work to alleviate stress when a particular situation or person causes a specific emotional reaction for you. It has the potential to work in a simple, effective and beautiful way.

The joy is in seeing the changes that come from making these simple rewrites.

I have spent the last 8 months learning this approach and I love it. It’s so far helped me regularly sleep soundly for the first time in a long time. It’s enabled me to lose weight when I’d been trying to for ages with no success. It’s rid me of physical pain and eased the grief of childlessness. Yes, I know I’ve had a wrist bleed and a pulled boob this week – I’m not saying it can fix everything instantly and make you superhuman. There’s a whole heap of unhelpful stuff in there I’m working my way through! But my goodness I’m curious to try this technique and be better than I am now!

Most importantly PSYCH-K® has given me a sense of purpose and an opportunity to master my own destiny that was taken away from me in my teens.
